Amazon Vendor Central Integration
Last updated: August 2026
OKTee connects to Amazon Vendor Central accounts authorized by its customers through the official Amazon APIs, SP-API. This connection powers the OKTee Operations, Finance and Marketing features that require Amazon data.
OKTee never directly asks customers for their Amazon credentials. The connection relies on Amazon’s official authorization flow and the requested permissions are limited to the uses required by the modules enabled for the customer organization.
Why connect Amazon Vendor Central to OKTee?
The integration makes it possible to centralize, reconcile and use authorized Amazon Vendor Central data together with customer data and business rules.
- Automate and secure Purchase Order processing and order confirmations;
- Monitor orders, statuses, exceptions, shipments and related events;
- Identify revenue opportunities, capture gaps and availability risks;
- Anticipate operational and financial risks such as delays, shortages, chargebacks, deductions or discrepancies;
- Analyze business performance and the data required for operational management;
- Analyze and monitor content, offer, trust and visible signals on Amazon product pages;
- Provide dashboards, alerts, recommendations and event logs for authorized teams;
- Update certain catalog content when the feature is available, authorized by the customer and permitted by the relevant Amazon permissions.

OKTee uses only the data required for the operation of the modules enabled by your organization. The data actually available depends on the permissions granted by the customer and the Amazon SP-API roles available.

Data from customer systems
OKTee may also process complementary data from customer-authorized systems, including ERP, WMS, product catalogs, internal APIs or other connected systems.
This data may be used to reconcile Amazon flows with internal references, inventory, logistics rules, automation settings, accounting data or financial reconciliation data, depending on the modules enabled.
How does the connection work?
The connection between OKTee and Amazon Vendor Central is initiated and controlled by your organization.
- Authorization: you initiate the connection from your OKTee environment and approve access through Amazon’s official authorization flow.
- Permissions: OKTee requests only the permissions required for the features being used and the corresponding Amazon roles.
- No credential sharing: your Amazon credentials are never transmitted to OKTee; the connection uses Amazon’s official authorization mechanisms.

- Revocation: you may revoke OKTee access from your Amazon environment where this option is available.
- Collection stop: after revocation, OKTee stops collecting new data from the relevant Amazon account.

Use of public product-page signals
For certain OKTee Marketing features, OKTee may collect public signals visible on Amazon product pages, including visible content, public images, availability, price, reviews, ratings or offer signals.
These signals may be collected through specialized technical providers when the required data is not available or sufficient through official Amazon APIs. OKTee prioritizes official Amazon APIs whenever they provide access to the required data.
Amazon compliance
OKTee uses the official Amazon SP-API in accordance with customer authorizations and the roles approved for the application.
- Amazon data is used only to provide services authorized by the customer;
- Requested permissions are limited to the uses required;
- Data is not sold, shared for advertising purposes or used for independent purposes;
