Amazon Vendor Central Integration
Last updated: 2026
OKTee connects to Amazon Vendor Central accounts authorized by its customers through the official Amazon APIs, SP-API, in order to help brands, distributors and wholesalers manage their operations, catalog, product performance and financial impacts on Amazon.
OKTee never directly asks customers for their Amazon credentials. The connection uses the official Amazon authorization flow, and the permissions requested are limited to the modules enabled by the customer organization.
Why connect Amazon Vendor Central to OKTee?
The integration allows key Amazon Vendor Central account data to be centralized and used to provide the features enabled by your organization.
- Automate the processing of supplier orders, Purchase Orders, and reduce confirmation delays;
- Monitor order statuses, confirmations, exceptions and the event log;
- Identify revenue opportunities, stock-out risks and processing anomalies;
- Analyze the quality, availability, trust signals and performance of Amazon product pages;
- Monitor prices, availability, Buy Box or Featured Offer, and available offer signals;
- Anticipate operational and financial risks: delays, shortages, chargebacks, deductions or discrepancies;
- Provide dashboards, alerts and audit logs for authorized teams;
- Update certain catalog text content via API when authorized by the customer and when Amazon permissions allow it.
Data used
OKTee uses only the data required for the operation of the modules enabled by your organization. The data processed depends on the permissions granted by the customer and on the Amazon SP-API roles available.
| Module family | Features concerned | Data used |
|---|---|---|
| Supply | Command Center, order tracking, event log | Purchase Orders, order lines, order statuses, confirmations, order responses, stock data, catalog data required to match customer ERP references, processing rules and operational events. |
| Procurement | Confirmation rate, capture rate | Confirmation rates, confirmed and unconfirmed order data, stock data, gaps between Amazon demand and customer processing capacity, capture indicators and revenue opportunities. |
| Finance | Logistics monitoring, financial risks, future reconciliation features | Shipment data, receipts, delays, shortages, chargebacks, deductions, invoices, payments, billing discrepancies or payment discrepancies when such data is available, authorized and necessary for the enabled module. |
| Business | Dashboards, performance analysis, management indicators | Account performance data, sales indicators, availability, price, offer data, active marketplaces, commercial opportunities and authorized general indicators. |
| Marketing | Overview, VIA Quality, VIA Offer, VIA Trust, Page Tracker | Catalog data, ASINs, titles, bullet points, descriptions, public images, visible content, availability, prices, Buy Box or Featured Offer, reviews, ratings, trust signals and changes detected on product pages. |
| Administration | Profile, catalog, settings, access management | Organization data, authorized users, roles, customer settings, module configuration, tracking preferences and data required to manage the OKTee account. |
This data is used exclusively to provide the platform features subscribed to by your organization. It is never sold, shared for advertising purposes, or used outside the services authorized by the customer.
Data from customer systems
OKTee may also process complementary data from customer-authorized systems. To date, this mainly concerns the customer’s product catalog, retrieved from the customer ERP through the OKTee API or through the customer’s API.
This catalog is used to match Amazon purchase orders with the customer’s internal product references, stock rules, logistics rules and automation settings used in the order management module.
For future financial reconciliation modules, OKTee may process other customer-owned data, including ERP, accounting, invoicing, payment, deduction or reconciliation data, only when the relevant module is enabled and authorized by the customer.
How does the connection work?
The connection between OKTee and your Amazon Vendor Central account is secure and controlled by your organization.
- Authorization: you initiate the connection from your OKTee workspace. You are redirected to Amazon Vendor Central to approve access through the official Amazon authorization flow.
- Permissions: OKTee requests only the permissions strictly necessary for the enabled modules. You can view and control these permissions from your Amazon interface.
- No Amazon credentials: no Amazon credentials are transmitted to OKTee. The connection relies exclusively on Amazon’s official authorization mechanisms.
Control and revocation
You remain in control of your Amazon Vendor Central connection at all times.
- Revocation: you may revoke OKTee’s access to your Amazon account from your Amazon Vendor Central interface where this option is available.
- Collection stop: once access is revoked, OKTee stops collecting new data from the relevant Amazon account.
- Data deletion: upon contract termination, data is deleted or returned according to the terms set out in the applicable Terms of Service and DPA.
Security and data protection
OKTee applies security measures designed to protect the data processed as part of the Amazon Vendor Central integration.
- Encryption: exchanges with Amazon APIs are protected via TLS. Access tokens are stored securely.
- Restricted access: only authorized users and authorized OKTee team members may access data when necessary to provide, maintain or secure the service.
- Traceability: important actions performed through Amazon APIs may be logged and made auditable.
- Minimization: OKTee limits the data collected and processed to the information required for the modules enabled by the customer.
- Confidentiality: Amazon data is not sold, shared for advertising purposes or used outside the authorized services.

Use of public product page signals
For certain features of the Marketing module, OKTee may collect public signals visible on Amazon product pages, including visible content, public images, availability, price, reviews, ratings or offer signals.
These signals may be collected through specialized technical providers when the required data is not available or not sufficient through official Amazon APIs. OKTee prioritizes official Amazon APIs whenever they provide access to the required data.
Amazon compliance
OKTee is registered as an Amazon solution provider. The application uses the official Amazon SP-API in accordance with the authorizations granted by customers and the roles approved by Amazon.
- Amazon data is used only to provide the services authorized by the customer;
- Permissions requested are limited to the enabled modules and necessary use cases;
- Data is not sold, shared for advertising purposes or used for independent purposes;
- The customer may revoke access to its Amazon account where this option is available;
- Processing activities are documented in the Privacy Policy, DPA, Security page and Sub-processors page.
The Supply module relies on the Amazon Vendor Central connection and customer-authorized ERP data. The Marketing module may also use public product page signals to monitor quality, offer, trust and visible changes online.
